vision panels in doors to be obscurable. For example, in
environments such as hospitals, consulting rooms, banks,
therapy rooms and schools.
Intelliglass vision panels developed by Leaderflush
Shapland are an innovative application of Switch Glass
liquid crystal glass technology which can be changed from
clear to frosted at the flick of a switch.
Unlike existing systems for obscured vision panels,
Intelliglass has no moving parts or complicated mechanisms
and is 100% obscurable whilst providing 100% visibility when
clear.
There are no blinds, shutters or curtains and no
protrusions to cause dust or dirt build up, making
Intelliglass ideal for locations where hygiene is of prime
importance. This intelligent glazing system can be operated
by any central control, building management or wireless
system, or simply with a switch at a convenient location.
