Plasform architectural hardware solutions

Hinges
All Plasform® doorsets are supplied factory hung, generally on lift-off hinges. Hinges are supplied bright zinc plate (BZP) as standard. Stainless steel, brass and colour coated to match are also available. Plasform® WR is supplied with 316 grade stainless steel butt hinges to suit wet areas.

Plates
Protection plates may be surface mounted or recessed flush and will be held back from the radiused leaf edge. Where plates are recessed, these will incorporate radiused corners. Recessed plates are not recommended on Plasform® WR doors.

Locks/latches/flushbolts
Flush fitting ironmongery can be installed into the Plasform® Range with a selection available in our Locks and Flushbolt literature. Alternatively, doorsets can be prepared for specified ironmongery to be fitted on-site by the installer (except hinges), provided that all recessed ironmongery has corners rounded to avoid stress cracking of the door facings.

Fire performance: 30 minutes integrity.
Smoke control: Required.
Certification: BWF-CERTIFIRE.

Door leaf:
Core: EnduraCor 'Severe Duty'.
Facings: Hygieniform high impact PVC, colour - Oceana.
Vertical edges: Postformed, 6mm radius.
Top and bottom edges: PVC to match facings.
Glazing details:
System: Duoglaze®.
Size and position of aperture(s): Type PN3.
Central pane: 7mm Pyroshield clear.
Frame and architraves:
Frame: Cubith Postformed split frame with 18mm planted stop.
Architraves: Integral to frame.
Facings: Hygieniform high impact PVC, colour - Oceana.
Moisture content on delivery: 10 to 12%.
Ironmongery: P4 with powder coated levers, colour to match Oceana facing
option.
Preparation: Factory morticed by doorset manufacturer.
Hinges: Grade 304 satin stainless steel fixed pin, supplied and fixed by doorset
manufacturer.
Locks: Factory morticed, supplied and fixed by doorset manufacturer.
Fire seals: Standard type for this doorset, with intumescent seals fitted in door
edge.
Fixing: Factory drilled frames with matching pellets.
